The latest trailer for Project Cars confirms that the game is on track to release this year. The news will be assuring for those who were recently effected by the assumption of the developers delaying the game.
Project Cars is in development for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Wii U and Steam OS. Initially versions for PS3 and Xbox 360 were also in the pipeline but were then scrapped last year.
Back then the developer stated that the power of the newer platforms ensures that they keep the quality bar high and hence will not have to compromise on their vision.
These powerful new platforms allow us therefore to not compromise on the quality of our vision and ultimately that means players are going to experience something truly breathtaking when they get behind the wheel.
Project CARS (Community Assisted Racing Simulator) will include a franchise mode that will let you create a personalized career for yourself in the Kart racing world. This will then lead you towards choosing a specialized motorsport from among Rally, Touring Cars, Open-Wheel, GT, Le Mans and others.
Expect a simultaneous release across all platforms in Fall of this year.
