Marvelous AQL, developers of Rune Factory, has announced its next project to be Forbidden Magna for the Nintendo 3DS.
The new simulation RPG is being worked on by members who previously were also involved on the Rune Factory series. Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu teased the storyline, which sees the protagonist encountering a spirit and then venturing forward to discover the truth of the world.
Marvelous AQL has promised to reveal more details when the game’s official website goes live on February 17.
The announcement follows up on the recent closure of Rune Factory series developer Neverland. The studio filed for bankruptcy late last year, citing “changes in the business environment” for its financial troubles.
