Using 3rd-Party Software in Call of Duty Ghosts Will Get You Banned
It is hammer-time, my folks! Looks like Infinity Ward has is bringing a ban-hammer to put down all the hackers that have been ruining the gameplay experience for other players.
Just when you began to wonder that Call of Duty Ghosts cannot get any worse, these hackers started using all sorts of wallhack, aimbot, God-mode, and infinite ammo. And this is not even recent; we have been seeing these hackers since the very launch of the game, but Infinity Ward chose to ignore it.
In a recent Tweet, Infinity Ward has declared that anyone using third-party software with Call of Duty: Ghosts PC version will be dealt with an iron-hand; in other words, a permanent ban.

Enforcer Team at Infinity Ward will look into the hacking complaints and if a person is found guilty, he/she will face a punishment based on the offense. Check out these penalties:
Temporary Ban: A ban that can range from 48 hours to 2 weeks, depending on the severity of the infraction.
Permanent Ban: Bans which are lasting and final.
Minor Offense: An offense in which no quantifiable damage has been done to another user or the game community at large.
Extreme Offense: An offense in which a player has caused detriment to other users or has organized large groups of users to commit additional offenses.
You have been warned!
Do you fancy those hackers and their high KDR and SPM ratios? Don’t be! It will not let you anywhere.

The post only addresses PC version of the game with no news about Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 version. Any person using a JTAG/RGH console can do the same without worrying about any penalty from Infinity Ward. What do you think?
