Far Cry Classic Brings the Original Game to US on February 11

I can bet there will be many Far Cry fans among us who would love to play the original version of the critically acclaimed shooter from Crytek on consoles. Just for the sake of those diehard fans, Ubisoft will be releasing Far Cry Classic to PS3 and Xbox 360 in a couple of days.

The release of Far Cry Classic has been timed probably to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the first game in the series. Far Cry was released in 2004.

Far Cry Classic is your chance to relive the game that launched an unforgettable franchise. Experience the action, the discovery and the incredible, chilling gameplay that made the original Far Cry legendary.

It is a re-mastered version with revamped cut-scenes, enhanced user interface and upgraded graphics. It will run the original game at 720p for the first time on the consoles.

Last month, Ubisoft announced that they would release the game on February 12 in Europe but at that time, nothing was said regarding a North American release.

Releasing on February 11, 2014 on PlayStation Network for PS3 and Xbox Games Store for Xbox 360, Far Cry Classic will set you back $9.99. The question is, are you willing to pay 10 bucks to play the game again?
