Capcom has announced that their Playstation 4 exclusive procedurally generated dungeon crawler, Deep Down, has been held up in Japan for a post-summer release.
It was previously announced that Deep Down will be available to beta testers in Japan on February 22, 2014, PS4 launch date in Japan. Whether it will also get delayed or not remains to be seen.

About Deep Down, I think we’ll give full-fledged information to everyone after the summer, so you may have to wait for a little while beyond the launch – of PS4 – on February 22nd.
Sugiura further stated that with Deep Down, they are planning on utilizing most of the processing power of Playstation 4 and push it to its limits; something which is impossible to achieve on a PS3 system:
Since we don’t want to risk to be told ‘This could have been done on PS3!’ we want to finish a game that fully uses the PS4 hardware specs.
My expectations from Deep Down have skyrocketed, and I would prefer getting a delayed but polished game rather than a rushed but broken one.
The game was announced as a free-to-play title exclusively for Japan during the Playstation Meeting last year.
In other Deep Down news, Sony Online Entertainment has divulged a ton of new information on various weapons and armor that you can expect to see in the game.
