Capcom also revealed that the new Strider will feature additional content. Alongside the story mode, Strider will include two other ways to play:

Beacon Run: “… offers a “speed run” race style mode that gives players a white-knuckled experience, challenging them to hit consecutive checkpoints while slicing through enemies, in the shortest amount of time.”

Survival Mode: “… tests player’s combat skills with a variety of different item and ability load outs, as waves of progressively difficult and diverse enemies converge on Strider Hiryu.”

Global leaderboards will be present for both challenge modes and the main story campaign that will help players to compare their stats against others. You’ll also be able to unlock various costumes for main character Hiryu.
