Sony has acknowledged reports by some PlayStation 4 users who have said to be unable to login to the PlayStation Network.
Posting on its official PlayStation Twitter account, Sony said that the issue is not widespread and a team is now looking into it.
We are aware that some PS4 users are experiencing login issues. We’re currently looking into it and will provide an update soon.
By chance the errors faced while logging into the PSN started appearing after the recent firmware update. So it’s possible that version 1.60 is conflicting with some aspect of the PlayStation 4. However, that’s only our assumption and Sony has not identified the cause of the problem.
Sony will keep everyone informed about any updates through its Twitter page. If you’re one of the few who has been effected, then keep a close eye out for any future updates, which will be quick.
