MGS 5: Ground Zeroes – $30 for 2 Hours Campaign Seem Unjustified

Hideo Kojima has made a huge fan base for himself by creating the Metal Gear Series, but in the last few years rumors were floating that maybe Kojima will stop working on the series and it would be handled by someone else.

All those rumors came to an end when Kojima finally unveiled his new project in the series, Metal Gear Sold: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain. Hideo Kojima has made huge changes to the gameplay in his next game.

To prepare people for the actual game, prologue “MGS 5: Ground Zeroes” has been made which will help all the fans of the series to get adapted to the new style of gameplay that will be featured in the final game.

There were so many questions regarding the length of this prologue and according to Game Informer, it only takes up about 2 hours to finish the campaign, but one should keep in mind that it doesn’t include any side quest, collectibles, or any other additional tasks.

This should come as a surprise for the long-time fans of the series as just the cutscenes of the game take longer than 5 hours. Kojima also mentioned before that Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes will be hundred times shorter than Phantom Pain, but just 2 hours of story was really unexpected.

We have to get our hands on the game to really come up with the verdict, we can’t be sure if the two hours of story is worth playing or it just feels like we have wasted our money.

Although there are few games that are incredibly short and we pay full amount for them as well, but we’ll have to play and see for ourselves if the game is worth it or not. Long-time fans of the franchise might not hesitate to purchase it when it releases on March 18, 2014 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

What are your thought on the length of the game? Are you satisfied or disappointed? Sound off in the comments below!
