Phil Spencer Almost Confirms Halo 2 Anniversary for Xbox One

Chief of Microsoft Phil Spencer has fueled the rumors surrounding the Halo announcements that were made last week by the user with the name of “ntkrnl”.

While discussing the latest rumors with the fans on his twitter last night he tweeted:

This tweet is a clear proof that Xbox One players will be able to enjoy Halo franchise for the first time on their new console. Today, Microsoft gave a statement that reiterated the company’s promise to publish a Halo game on Xbox One this year.

However, there is still no confirmation that either the title will be the next game in the Halo franchise or is it Halo 2 Anniversary.

Microsoft spokesperson in an announcement said:

“Other than confirming that your Halo journey on Xbox One begins in 2014, we have made no announcements related to specific titles”

So it is confirmed that we will see a Halo game this year on the Xbox One, line-up of the exclusives for the Xbox One keeps on increasing. Now Xbox One will have Quantum Break, Halo, Sunset Overdrive, D4, Fable Legends, and Kinect Sports Rivals.

There will be a lot of announcements from Microsoft for the new games in their conference at E3 this year. So the year for the Microsoft and the Xbox One keeps getting better and better.
