Square Enix has confirmed today that Murdered: Soul Suspect will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well.
The supernatural detective title will launch in June this year for next-gen consoles, alongside the previously confirmed – PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, platforms.
According to Square Enix, the next-gen version will run at full 1080p on the PS4 and include an increased particle count. The game will fully utilize the console’s power to feature improved visual effects and give a “more immersive ghost world.”
Murdered: Soul Suspect sees to players solving their own murder as detective Ronan O’Connor, who is killed by a mysterious assailant while on the job. Stuck in limbo, Connor now must track down his killer and hopefully escape the shadowy world.
A new trailer was also released today which you can see above.
Soul Suspect seems to be one of those games that are relying heavily on its story telling skill. The plot must be executed to perfection. Unless that happens, players will most likely lose interest in the game and hence, everything will fall apart.
