New CSI Domain Registered by Ubisoft

There have been a lot of rumors regarding a new Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) game in development at Ubisoft. These rumors may well be true, seeing that Ubisoft has registered a CSI game domain with the name of “CSI hidden Crimes”.

An official announcement is pending and we still don’t know whether this game will be targeting current-gen or if it’s another mobile game. CSI has been coming to mobile devices mostly, so it wouldn’t be surprising at all if another game in the series made its way to iOS and Android once again.

The game is based on the popular TV show Crime Scene Investigation and may follow the same gameplay as the previous titles in the series. Previous titles of the CSI game feature episodic drama with each of the episodes featuring different cases.

Last title that was released in the series was Crime Scene Investigation: 3 Dimensions of Murder in 2006 and 2007 for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 2 respectively. It was developed by Telltale games that are now well known for their game of the year The Walking Dead.

There is no news regarding who will be developing this new title in the series but if it is on the new consoles, then you can expect to see all the thrill of CSI series in full HD graphics and it can achieve brilliant gameplay through the use of the new hardware.

With the domain registration complete, we can expect Ubisoft to announce the game officially very soon. Are you excited to see what this new game in the CSI series has to offer? Sound off in the comments section below!
