Telltale has announced release date of the second episode of The Wolf Among Us titled as ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ to be 4th of February. The first episode of the game was released way back in October last year and got pretty impressive reviews.
Telltale delayed the game’s second episode, which left a lot of fans irritated as the whole fun of the game faded away with long time span, especially given the thrilling end to the first episode of the game.
Few days ago, Telltale released a new trailer for the second episode and today, company has announced on their official twitter account that Smoke and Mirrors will be coming to all platforms.
PC, Mac, and North American PlayStation 3 gamers can get their hand on the game on February 4th, while Xbox 360 and European PlayStation 3 gamers wait an extra day, with release set for February 5th. Telltale also says that the game will be released “next week on iOS AppStore.”
Telltale has promised that this several months wait between the remaining episodes won’t be an issue. They said:
“We are very concerned about the long delay for [episode two], but this is one of those occasions where several things conspired against us (not to mention the additional delays due to the holidays).
It’s been an unusual and specific set of circumstances and we do not anticipate it happening again as we go forward with the rest of the season.”
The Wolf Among Us will feature five episodes which can be bought separately as soon as they are released or together once all the five episodes of the game has been released.
Like Telltale’s hugely popular The Walking Dead series, The Wolf Among Us is also based on a comic book of Fables comics. The game follows the former Big Bad Wolf, Sheriff Bigby, as he tries to protect the Fables, famous characters from fairy tales and other stories, from the world and themselves.
