Number of apps are making their way to the Xbox Live, including GoPro which will be available for the Gold Membership holders of the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The upcoming app will allow the users to stream on demand GoPro video content to all the members worldwide.
GoPro CEO Nicholas Woodman said in his press release:
“Our GoPro Channel app will make it easy for millions of global Xbox Live customers to watch GoPro originally-produced and ‘best of’ user-generated content on their televisions at home.”
The GoPro channel apps will stream curated video content to your TV via your console. However, the announcement didn’t make it clear exactly how the video content would be curated.
The app enables user to browse the number of different categories such as athletes, adventure, sports and watch individual videos or sit back and keep watching back to back videos in the same category.
The Gold Members of Xbox will also have the option of purchasing GoPro cameras and accessories directly with the help of this app, it is first time ever Microsoft has integrated the physical purchase of packaged goods into an Xbox Live app.
People who are unfamiliar to this app must know that it is a totally content oriented app. It enables customers and the professional around the world to capture and share all there exhilarating experiences via videos or images.
This app must be exciting for the people who are interested in sharing their videos and photo content with the rest of the world.
