Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments Gets a New Trailer

By   /   Jan 31, 2014

Developer Frogwares Studio has released a new trailer for Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments that takes a look at their new branding for the series. They’ve been developing the franchise for over a decade now.

In an accompanied post on the Playstation blog, the developer notes being in tune with the world’s perception of the character. Olga Ryzhko from Frogwares mentioned:

The recent reinventions of Sherlock Holmes in the new movies, BBC and CBS series have put a new spin on the character and the world he lives in.

Additionally, this will be the first time that players will allow for cases to go awry by pointing out the wrong culprit. You’ll need to be careful with sorting out clues.

Talking to people, you can uncover certain aspects of the case that can change your views, along with your own inspections. All these tied together may lead to your target, as pointed out in the trailer.

Each case presents a range of three to five suspects and it’s up to you to pass judgment. To give you even more leeway, you’ll be able to either condemn or absolve people for their crimes.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments will release for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, PC and Xbox 360 in the second quarter of 2014.
