When it comes to consoles peripherals – especially in terms of controllers for MLG players – Mad Catz and Scuf Controllers have always been in the lead.

As for PC enthusiasts, they seem to prefer Razer products over other brands. However, according to recent Press Release, Razer is officially teaming up with Microsoft to manufacture accessories for Xbox One.

Razer has manufactured premium controllers and arcade sticks for Xbox 360 in the past and with this partnership, the company is planning on designing peripherals for Xbox One.

The company’s CEO, Min-Liang Tan stated that their aim is to provide best possible gameplay experience whether it be on a PC or on a console and that they feel excited to be a part of Xbox One community:

“Razer is dedicated to improving the overall experience from the games themselves to the player, be it console or PC. By working with a company as prestigious as Microsoft on a system as sought-after as the Xbox One, we’ll be able to accomplish just that. This is an exciting time for the hundreds of millions of gamers all over the world, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

There is no solid release date or price announced for the products, Razer has mentioned working on a controller, an arcade stick, and ‘more’ products.

More information is expected to come in coming weeks. Keep an eye out on Razer Zone for more information!
