Great news for the 3DS owners, today Nintendo announced that it will be giving free copies of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition for free to all the owners of Nintendo 3DS. This edition is an update to the multiplayer mode that was made available with the Game Boy Advance version of A Link to the Past.

Though time limit is short, you will have till Sunday, February 2nd to download the title on you Nintendo 2DS and 3DS systems for absolutely free.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition is a multiplayer title although there is an option in the game to go solo. In the game, players will be working together to save Zelda from the evil wind mage Vaati.

There will also be competitive aspect to the game, as players will be racing to collect rupees and solving the in-game puzzles together. There is option to play solo, but it is recommended that you play the game with more players.
