Forza Horizon 2 Will Feature Weather Effects and Open World – Rumor
Last night all the websites were filled with the rumors spread by the user who goes by the name of “ntkrnl”. Rumors of Halo 2 Anniversary in development and Halo 5 being delayed story details of Sunset Overdrive and a Titanfall themed Xbox One. The list of rumors went on and on but not all of them are to be believed.
Now this latest rumor is from the same source which suggests that Forza Horizon 2 is in development for the Xbox One, and it might release in September this year.
After the aforementioned rumors were revealed NeoGAF forum members started to ask questions regarding their favorite Microsoft franchise to get as much information out of him as possible. One of the user asked if he knew anything regarding another Forza Horizon, in response to this question, he said:
Fall 2014, probably September, super sexy weather system and… shit tons of co-op/social stuff. 1080P and open-world, so you can road trip with your bros.”
However, there is no solid information to go on, but if the rumor is true then the gamers who weren’t impressed by Forza Motorsport 5 will not have to wait long to get back on the race track.
Most of the criticism that was directed towards Forza 5 was its lack of diversity in the environments, so new weather system in the new game make a lot of sense and it would be the main addition to the game.
Forza Horizon featured an arcade style approach to the racing and players who enjoyed it must be thrilled to have the new game with better and high-res graphics. “Being able to road trip with your bros” could be like an open world approach added in the game like Ubisoft’s The Crew, but one can never be sure what will feature in the final build of the game.
