Some new details have been revealed for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 by the game’s executive producer, Stephanie Gravel, which will put a smile on Vita and PS4 owners.

Starting with Sony’s latest console, the PlayStation 4 version of the game will feature support for Remote Play on Vita. Hence allowing players to stream gameplay on the handheld if they do so wish and with optimized controls.

Additionally unlockable costumes will return to the game, having been really popular in the previous Spider-Man games. According to Gravel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will feature “more unlockable suits than in the previous” titles. Also all unlockable costumes will have upgradable perks.

Web Rush, featured in the previous Amazing Spider-Man game was also confirmed to return, along with new abilities like “dodges, rolls and critical strikes”. There are also new upgrades and special powers.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is being developed by Beenox and will be published by Activision for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC in the Spring of this year.
