Shadowrun: Dragonfall Takes you to Berlin – Pre-Orders Available Now

By   /   Jan 28, 2014

The first downloadable content for turn-based tactical RPG ‘Shadowrun Returns’ is slated to release on February 27, 2014 for Windows, OSX, and Linux. However, as of now, the pre-orders for the DLC have kicked off on Steam.

The DLC is priced at 14.99 USD and the pre-order bonuses include… NOTHING! So if you want the first-hand experience, head over to Steam and be done with it! On the other side, you can wait for some reviews and might find some sweet spot to spend in your hard-earned cash.

In addition to this, a DRM-free version is promised and will be available at GOG.com.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall will feature an all-new full length campaign which will take place in the city of Berlin with loads of novel features, weapons, characters, locations, and enemies. Furthermore, the studio has carried out several tweaks which will surely improve the experience.

Dragonfall will also come with the functionality of ‘Save Anywhere’ at any given time. This functionality is not only confined to Dragonfall but will also be implemented in Shadowrun Returns’ Dead Man’s Switch campaign.
The in-game editor is better than ever and comes packed with:

“A scripting system to better control lighting, tracking mission objectives in the main game UI, placing exploding barrels, and allowing players to input keypad passwords and custom text strings in conversations.”

If this is still not enough, check out the latest trailer above to see the imminent adventure.

Shadowrun Returns managed to receive 75 (PC) and 86 (iOS) on Metacritic and have several awards under its belt. Not much of a demanding game, but for those of you buying the game now, here are the minimum system requirements:
