It has been only a mere four months since the release of Monster Hunter 4 but Nintendo has today thought it a prime time to announce a new Monster Hunter 4G.
The latest installment in the Monster Hunter series was announced at the Monster Hunter Festa ’13 event in Japan. In development for the Nintendo 3DS, Monster Hunter 4G will allow players to carry over their save data from the current Monster Hunter 4. That’s something that I’m sure players would be happy to know about.
From an accompanying trailer, the game seems fairly similar to the other entries in the series but seeing that Nintendo has yet to detail the new title, there may be plenty of new features we don’t know about.
Monster Hunter 4 was released in September 2013 and still awaiting to see an English release. The game has been really successful in Japan and has so far sold more than 4 million units. That’s more than what Capcom originally expected.
Monster 4G has been slated for a release in Japan in Fall, 2014. Nintendo did not comment on whether this new iteration would be getting a western release or not.
