Next-Gen Hitman Isn’t a Confirmed Deal Yet for Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360
Last week, developer IO Interactive shared an open letter with the fans which spotlighted the future of Hitman series and included few details of what to expect from the upcoming game.
“Shortly after pressing that big, blue ‘publish’ button, a huge wave of feedback, suggestions, ideas, questions and everything in between came at us and it was extremely exciting for us to finally share some details about what we’ve been working on. It has certainly kick-started our new year and there is a real buzz around the studio as we go about crafting the game. We’re looking forward to more feedback when the time comes around for us to show our first gameplay to you. That’s a little way in the future though.”
There is a lot of excitement in the air for the Next-Gen Hitman title, with game adapting to its initial roots and now offering biggest levels ever created, fans are really getting excited for the game with these regular updates.
Obviously there were a lot of questions that were asked by the fans after the announcement which included specific aspects of the gameplay such as disguises, instinct and weapons.
They couldn’t possibly answer all the questions at the same time. Well three of the most intriguing questions were answered by the developers on their official site.
We want to stay on point by answering a couple of common questions that we received over the last 7 days. See the bottom of this post for how you can send us your own questions.
Q1. When is the game released?
A: One of the most obvious questions but also one of the most important. The bad news is that we don’t have a specific date locked down just yet. The good news is that as soon as it is locked, we’ll let you know.
Q2. What is the name of the game?
A: We don’t have an answer to this just yet, but we’re pretty close to finalising it.
Q3. Will the game be out on Wii U / PS3 / Xbox 360?
A: Right now, our focus is only on PC and new generation consoles. We’ll let you know if anything changes.
Well, the last answer certainly is tricky. What do you make of it? Are they just trying to not to disappoint the hitman fans of the current generation? Would you like to see the game on Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii U soon enough? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
