Monolith and Warner Brothers have unveiled the eight minutes gameplay video of the new Middle-Earth Shadow of Mordor. This video shows Talion’s wraith abilities and the nemesis system, which gives enemies memory of their interactions with the player.
The walkthrough follows the protagonist Talion as he infiltrates the camp of goblins. After slicing his way through numerous guards, Talion captures his nemesis, Ratbag. From there, he can command Ratbag to carry out one of four missions–including assassinating another nemesis, Ratbag’s boss.
The Warner Bros. Interactive and Monolith project was first announced in November 2013. Its story takes place in the period between The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring.
In the game players will explore the dark and very personal theme of vengeance in a world where decisions have a consequence, and those consequences persist even after death.
Shadow of Mordor is set to release for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. There is still no official announcement on the release date of the game
