When you see clan wars in games like World of Tanks and Call of Duty: Ghosts, you obviously want the same for the FPS you are playing. So here goes, Guerilla Games has announced that they will be adding clan support to Killzone Shadow Fall by February.
Community editor of the Killzone website, Victor Zuylen made a post today announcing that the science fiction based first person shooter will get clan support in steps:
The first phase will arrive with patch 1.09, which is currently slated for an early February release. This phase introduces clan system features to both the game and the website.
The patch will add support for displaying clan tags alongside player names in the game, while the website will receive basic clan management functionality — including the ability to create clans, add/remove members and promote members to clan officers.
Just to give you an idea of how hot the topic of clans is in the Killzone world, Zuylen wrote that clan support was “the most-requested feature on the Killzone Player Voice feedback system” – I am glad they were listening.
The series of patches that are supposed to come to the game now will be free of course and will add features partially based on player feedback.
Oh and the post also confirmed additional content for Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer; this includes free maps and the first DLC pack which is “soon-to-be-announced.”
Killzone Shadow Fall is a PlayStation 4 exclusive that was released alongside the console as a launch title back in November last year.
