References keep stacking in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII as downloadable content (DLC) called Spira’s Summoner has appeared on Amazon. This piece of DLC is exclusive to the retailer and comes as a free preorder incentive.
Naturally, the summoner garb is a direct correlation to Final Fantasy X, where Yuna wears the same outfit. It comes with the purple and white dress, as well as the staff with round top.
Moreover, combat will have a small hint of the prior release as well. Victory poses in this outfit will be similar to those made by Yuna.
Those wanting to reconnect with the older release can do so in the renewed release, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. There’s a dress up game in there as well.
In Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, players can give the titular protagonist a large range of different outfits and accessories, which will also affect stats, as seen in a previous video. This has spawned a ton of quirky pieces of clothing, so far.
Some of these outfits have been quite ridiculous. For instance, a Moogle ensemble looks a little silly. Less silly are the more revealing items, which undoubtedly have rubbed some the wrong way already.
If you’re not on board with the upcoming spin-off yet, you can now find a demo for it both on Xbox Live and Playstation Network.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will release next month for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
