Feudal Japan May Serve As Setting for Next Assassin’s Creed

Would you have a samurai as the main protagonist in upcoming Assassin’s Creed iteration? The reason I say this is because it’s quite possible as the Creative Director of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has provided a possible hint at it.

In an interview to VG247, Jean Guesdon told that courtesy of Animus, the entire human history is their playground and Feudal Japan can be a possible location for Assassin’s Creed V or whatever it will be titled as:

Feudal Japan remains – like numerous other time periods and locations – a possible future setting for the franchise. Thanks to the Animus, the entire human history is our playground.

Egypt is another country which can serve as a location for the next Assassin’s Creed title. And it also has evidence to back it up. In 2012, we received a leaked gameplay screenshot which looked like Prince of Persia reboot but those who have played Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will take no time to recognize the character.

Nothing can be said with utmost certainty, and we have fans with various preferences. Some would like Feudal Japan, China, or Egypt while some would go for French Revolution or current-age.

When it comes to China, we have been hearing rumors of an Assassin’s Creed game there since Ezio’s trilogy was in progression.

Only time will tell what the exact location will be. It is very much possible that the next setting will neither be in Feudal Japan nor Egypt but a whole different location.

In the meanwhile, tell us which location would you prefer for the next Assassin’s Creed?
