A live-action trailer has been released today by Activision for Call of Duty: Ghosts’ upcoming Onslaught DLC.
Similar to the Replacer series of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, the Onslaught trailer features CODnappers, which according to Stephen Graham is the way for you to escape boring family obligations.
The CODnapper provides a service by helping you “mysteriously” disappear—often through the use of helicopters and tactical extraction teams—in order to play Ghosts without judgment before returning you back to a family grateful to have you back.
The DLC introduces four new multiplayer maps: Fog, Bayview, Containment and Ignition. These range from small to medium in scale and have their own distinct environments. Onslaught also brings the new “Maverick AR & Sniper Rifle” and the first episode “Nightfall” of a four-part, episodic offering in the game’s Extinction mode.
Onslaught is part of the game’s Season pass, with three more packs scheduled for release called Devastation, Invasion and Nemesis. It is going to arrive on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One first on January 28, 2014. Currently, Activision has not announced a release date for Onslaught on the rest of the platforms, but they usually come about after a couple of months.
