Featuring 44 Billion Weapons, Loadout Releases This Month
Loadout, a free-to-play massively-multiplayer online third-person shooter will be available by the end of this month.
In a recent announcement, Edge of Reality told that the game will be available to everyone as fee-to-play on January, 31, 2014.
As of now, the game is undergoing a beta phase and is only accessible via Steam early access.
To get the game, you’ll need to pay an entrance fee which ranges from $9.99 to $39.99.
The developing studio, Edge of Reality comprises of veterans known for their contribution to some of the biggest games of last generation; Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and The SIMS. This is the first time they are creating their own IP.
The ability to craft a wide arsenal of weapons and do aerobics are the biggest highlights of Loadout. According to a developer, the game will allow players to create, “over 44 billion weapons” combined with different “modifications” options.
Loadout’s weapon-crafting system runs so deep that there are over 44 billion possible creations to assemble, enabling players to transform weapon behavior in extreme ways, thereby defining their own class and play style.
