Bethesda Hiring for “Bleeding-Edge” RPG; Definitely Fallout 4

By   /   Jan 17, 2014

Despite the fact that Bethesda hasn’t revealed anything on a new Fallout installment; reports keep piling up signifying that Fallout 4 exists and does so for next-gen.

Today the studio’s job listings were updated to be looking for designers and programmers for the “bleeding-edge of RPG development” on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

On the game programmer listing the job’s description reads:

Bethesda Game Studios is looking for talented programmers to join our team that is pushing the bleeding-edge of RPG development for the PC and consoles.

While the quest designer listing notes:

In this role the Quest Designer would be responsible for designing and documenting stories and quests for future next generation products.

An executive producer is also needed who has a “comprehensive knowledge of Action/Adventure/Shooter product genres”.

Do you really think that Bethesda would be working on any other RPG other than Fallout 4 at this time? A new Elder Scrolls installment is out of the question seeing that an MMO of the same name is looking for release this year.

Development on that just might being next year or the year after that but surely not this year. Also the fact that the executive producer’s listing mentions a “shooter” suggests this definitely is Fallout 4.

According to rumors, Fallout 4 is set in Boston and that’s all we know of the game so far.
