The survival horror game Outlast is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 in February.
The announcement came from creators Red Barrels Games, which declared the news on the game’s official Facebook page.
Outlast was previously released exclusively for the PC on September 4 last year, and gained notoriety for its startling scenes and adrenaline pumping spooks.
The game tells the story of Miles Upshur, a journalist who has been tipped by anonymous source about Mount Massive Asylum, a psychiatric hospital whose staff seems to have been annihilated and the eerie inmates loose.
The game features similar mechanics to Amnesia: The Dark Decent, where the player has no means to counter enemies other than hiding or escaping from them.
The PlayStation 4 version will be free for PlayStation Plus users.
