GTA V PC Petition Reaches 650k Signatures, Still No Word from Rockstar

One of the most popular petitions of last year on was the request to Rockstar for releasing their big-money title Grand Theft Auto V for the PC.

Since its creation, the petition had reached more than 500,000 signings as of late October last year, and now it has increased to 650,000 requests. However, Rockstar is still reluctant to release any official statement regarding a release of the game on PC.

In fact, the last (and only) statement came in November last year from Rockstar vice President Sam Houser, who stated that “a PC version of the game was up for consideration” among other platforms.

Grand Theft Auto V has been the best-selling video-game of all-time, hitting a record $1 billion sales within 3 days of release. Rockstar is currently more fixated on reconditioning and streamlining the associated Grand Theft Auto Online multiplayer, and also plans for “substantial single-player DLCs” sometime in 2014.

Grand Theft Auto IV also suffered a similar scenario, being released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 first followed by a 7 month gap of near silence before it came for the PC.

Stay tuned for more updates regarding any probable or official news of GTA V on PC.
