BioShock Infinite To Become Free for US PlayStation Plus Users

Last year’s highly acclaimed and controversial shooter BioShock: Infinite will become free to US PlayStation Plus subscribers as part of the week’s PlayStation Store update on Tuesday.

The shooter game joins the 14 other PS Vita and PlayStation 3 titles that are getting massive discounts during the week’s update.

Last week’s update added indie game Don’t Starve for PS4 and Ninja Theory’s reboot DMC: Devil May Cry for PS3 to the US Instant Game Collection.

BioShock: Infinite obtained high ratings from almost all the critics for its brilliant story-line and captivating characters. However, the main (and perhaps only) area where the game may have lacked somewhat is the gameplay, which seemed too familiar and too fast-paced to cradle such an amazing plot.

The game also attained controversy due to its display of religious beliefs and practices, which form an essential part of the plot.
