Art Director of Halo 4 ‘Kenneth Scott’ Steps Down at 343 Industries

Halo 4’s Senior Art Director Kenneth Scott transitioning to a new role at 343 Industries after spending four years and working on Halo 4.

A Microsoft spokesperson told IGN:

“In order to be with his family, Kenneth Scott and 343 Industries have agreed to transition his current role.” It should be noted that Scott’s Wife, Corrinne Yu left the Washington’s 343 industries in November to join Sony’s Naughty Dog in California.

When talking about the replacement of Kenneth Scott, a Microsoft representative said:

“We are thrilled to announce that Kenneth’s longtime colleague and collaborator, Nicolas “Sparth” Bouvier will step into the position or Art Director.”

“Kenneth, however will still continue to work at 343 Industries remotely and will partner with the new Art Director Nicolas in a newly created role of Visual Design Consultant. We cannot wait to share more details of the future “Halo” very soon.”

There is no further news regarding the future projects of Halo, except that there is a Halo game in development for the Xbox one which will release this year. Recently, Star Wars: Republic Commando’s and Tomb Raider’s Timothy Longo took on the role of creative director for the project.

Anyone interested in the works of “Sparth” can visit his Blog.

This is exciting time for any Halo player, with transitions going on in the studio; we cannot wait to see what 343 Industries has in store for us when they finally lift the curtains on their new project.
