Sega has given the official word on the next iteration in Aliens series, Alien Isolation but with that has come the news that they are not going to show any love to Wii U, again.
The official twitter account of the game was asked about the Wii U version of the game when Sega replied that they have no such plans at the moment.
It is pretty sad that the latest game in the series is treating Wii U in the same was as its predecessor, Aliens Colonial Marines did. A Wii U version was announced for Colonial Marines too but when the game released nothing of the Wii U version was said or done.
@Krawzorz Right now, we don't have plans to put the game on Wii U.

No matter how we want the console to do more than it has already, the fact remains that more and more third party developers are saying good-bye to Wii U every day. This time around the only reason that seems understandable is that Sega thinks few people would purchase the game on Wii U – so they decided to avoid the trouble.
Official word came in recently about the game’s release. Alien Isolation is bound towards Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in late 2014.
