Nippon Ichi Teases a New Game Through New Year Card
The Gifu Prefecture and Santa Ana based game developer Nippon Ichi might have something new up their sleeves in 2014. We won’t be sure what exactly they were trying to do but a new year’s card made by the studio shows off a mysterious image that could be related to a new unannounced title.
The Disgaea developer sent New Year’s card to Gematsu who picked up the images from the bottom of the card. When the developer was questioned regarding the images they confirmed that they were related to a “new title.”
Only recently Nippon Ichi has celebrated their 20th anniversary by releasing a range of new games. The most prominent release has been Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness. Other games that they have released include The Guided Fate Paradox and Battle Princess of Arcadias.
The busy development studio has two other games that could be expected to roll out this year namely The Witch and the Hundred Knight in March and more importantly Disgaea 4.
In case you were wondering when you can get your hands on The Witch and the Hundred Knight, it will be releasing to PlayStation 3 on March 25 – Europe gets the game on March 21.
Keep watching this space, we shall update you as soon as we get more information regarding the game Nippon Ichi is working on.
