Respawn Entertainment’s upcoming Sci-Fi shooter, Titanfall is close at hand and Respawn’s co-founder Vince Zampella has confirmed that the title won’t feature any modding/mapping tools at launch.
Responding to a fan’s query whether Titanfall modding and mapping tools will be available on launch, Zampella wrote:
“Not at launch for sure, will have to evaluate after launch.”
Titanfall is slated to release exclusively on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on March 11, 2014. As for a Playstation or Nintendo port, it’s never going to happen; at least for the first game as confirmed by Vince Zampella.
Despite of being created by former Call of Duty developers, the game won’t feature quick-scoping or no-scoping; only hard-scoping will be available.
“Sniping is in the game, but due to how the game plays it’s a pretty different animal than you’ll find in your run of the mill modern military shooter. Quick scoping and no scoping are ineffective.”
