A new trailer is out for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, which will show you how the game looks, in addition to going over some vague story bits. This compilation will take us through a series of different scenes.
Sora, Goofy and Donald Duck discuss how to get to a door of light, before the clip quickly devolves into a turnover of a million plot points with an equal amount of characters. You’ll see Roxas and Axel as they discuss their role in the series. It’s not like Kingdom Hearts has the easiest story to follow.
What’s important is how the game looks, primarily. Models are more nuanced, rounder and have more shades, while locations are sharpened.
Speaking of locations, if you’re unfamiliar with the series and would like to know if it’s worth your time, the many different environments might seal the deal. In this clip along, the crew travels to the world of the Lion King, Sleeping Beauty and other places.
They’ll meet Jiminy Cricket, Hercules and two Jacks; Sparrow and Skellington. That alone should be good for a list of your favorite enchanted worlds and that’s without all the Final Fantasy characters in there.
In this remake compilation, you’ll find Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix, which is the first time they’ll be released outside of Japan. It also has a cinematic retelling of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded from the Nintendo DS release. That one, however, won’t be playable.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is a Playstation 3 exclusive, set for release in 2014.
