A new trailer has emerged for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution (NUNSR). It is displayed as a shocking news clip, detailing the danger ahead.
In a rather ominous way, this clip sets up a powerful new enemy. None other than a Mecha-Naruto can be seen imitating the real ninja warrior. Aside from being made of metal and having sharp teeth, the robot version is quite identical to the fleshy counterpart.
As such, Mecha Naruto can emit flaming attacks and make use of the same jutsu’s, including the iconic Rasengan. We might also add that this metal version screeches a bit louder than its original. Oh, and it’s quadrupedal to resemble a fox more. Being a robot has advantages.
There’s one more adaptation for this warrior. It can step into a much larger robot, which forms the Mecha-Kurama, a metal version of the Nine-Tails. This behemoth can make use of several overpowering blows as well.
In earlier news, Namco Bandai revealed that Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto would design a brand new character. While it’s not exactly a completely different person, this is indeed the addition they were talking about.
NUNSR is only announced for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2014 still. There is no version detailed for Playstation 4 or Xbox One. Perhaps the simple combat schemes of just one button, enhanced with throwing items, isn’t up to snuff for more advanced platforms.
Unlike, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, the Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution version will also not be coming to PC.
