Throughout the year, we have heard about Lara Croft: Reflections trademarks being filed by Square Enix; the date goes back to March 2013.
Different speculations followed the news such as a new DLC for Tomb Raider 2013, a small spin-off title, or a completely new iteration.
The mysterious title has come out as a Turn-Based Card Collecting game for iOS based devices. The game is developed by Square Enix Japan (Smile Lab) and RenRen Games. The game has a nostalgic vibe to it as it’s not set in current Tomb Raider chronology.
The game is currently out in New Zealand and Australia as free-to-play title but have certain in-game features which require you to buy them. It puts you in the shoes of Lara Croft where you must battle fierce enemies and bosses.
The game also features a multiplayer mode in which you could take on bosses with your buddies. Taking out enemies and bosses will help you level up and you will unlock new weapon cards. The game also features a storyline and in which Lara is seen battling against herself from another era.
Lara Croft: Reflections require iPhone 4, 4s, 5c, 5s, iPad 2, and newer devices running on iOS 5.0 or later. You will also require a stable internet connection to run the game.
