It’s been only a few months since the novel iOS 7 released and Team Evasion has already come up with a Jailbreak for devices running it. The Jailbreak App is said to run on Linux, OS X, and Windows and can be downloaded from Team Evasion’s website.
However, there have been some reports of buggy behavior on the part of this Jailbreak as reported by a Reddit user.
We’d advise you against jumping into Jailbreak as of now and wait until the issue gets resolved. If you are willing to test it as is, you can follow the instructions below to jailbreak iOS 7.
Warning: As I have already mentioned, the jailbreak is facing bugs/glitches, and you should install it at your own risk. We won’t be responsible for any resulting damage to your device. You have been warned!
How to Jailbreak Devices Running iOS 7
Anyway, for those eager ones who can’t wait to install it, here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to install it on devices running iOS 7. As the official site states, the Jailbreak is compatible with every device running iOS 7.0 to iOS 7.0.4 (which is the current version).
How to Jailbreak iOS 7
The first thing you need to do is download the Jailbreak App from Team Evasion’s website.
After you have downloaded it, plug-in your device to your PC. We would advise switching your profile to Airplane and removing any Security Lock that you might have.
After you’ve connected your phone, open up the Jailbreak App and click on ‘Jailbreak’. The process will commence on its own, and your device may restart several times during the process.
After completion, you will need to tap the Jailbreak icon on your device. Apparently, nothing will happen on your device except a few flashes. The process will take a minute or two, and your device will restart several times during the process.
After the process is done, you will see your Lock Screen. Simply, head over to Cydia and have fun with your freshly installed Jailbreak.
