A new first-person shooter called ‘Get Even’ has been announced by The Farm 51, which is in development for the PC and next-generation consoles.
During a press conference in Warsaw, Poland today, the Deadfall Adventures developer said that the game uses “3D scans of real locations and people” to give users an astounding feel of reality. The developer revealed that the game’s visuals have been developed in collaboration with research institutes and independent specialists.
The game will feature a drop-in multiplayer model where players can join other players’ single-player games “at any moment” and even take on enemy roles, which otherwise would be AI.
The story will follow two opposing protagonists, which players can experience playing from either sides. The story will be told through “elements of gameplay, exploration, and interacting with the environment,” rather than through “the standard usage” of dialogue and cutscenes. Gameplay will differ based on which side of the story is chosen.
Get Even is planned for release in 2015.
