With Update 1.1, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Goes Universal on iOS

It’s four thousand years before the Galactic Empire and the war against Sith has cost tons of Jedi Knights. Are you up for saving the Republic when it needs saving the most?

Probably one of the best Star Wars game, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic iOS version has gone universal. Which means you can do more about the troubled Republic from your iPhone.

Aspyr Inc. has made the title universal meaning that it can now be played on iPhone and iPod Touch too. Also, if you had previously bought the iPad version of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, you will be able to get the iPhone version free of cost!

In the same update which is titled Update 1.1 the timeless RPG’s handheld version has received upgrades to the graphics, UI and controls too.

In the Retina iPad models and iPhone 5S you will be able to experience shadows which were not there previously while enhanced lighting projections will enable bloom effects on iPhone 5S and iPad Air models.

Moreover, you will now be able to play the on iPhone and iPod Touch in widesreen, which means you get more viewing space. The UI has also been updated to be optimized for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Lastly, if you are using iOS 7, you will be able to experiment the Made for iPhone Controllers with the game too – but that would obviously require you to buy the controller separately.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic is currently available at iTunes Store for $4.99 – just in case you don’t already have it on your device.
