If you recall, we recently reported that some members of Kojima Productions staff were in a podcast in which they say that the PC version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance would be popping up much sooner than people anticipate.
Well it seems that they were telling the truth, because Amazon just listed Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance PC release date to be 9th of January.
The PC port of the game was announced much earlier in this year, and Hideo Kojima even tweeted a screencap of the game running while saying that it looked good.
The Amazon list also has a few juicy details that I didn’t know about, such as the fact that the port would contain all the three DLC in the game; Blade Wolf, Jetstream and VR Mission.
The game also includes all customized body upgrades for Raiden. Players will also be able to play all cutscenes from the game and access codecs via the main menu. A graphic options tab has also been added to the options menu to allow players to modify resolution and anti-aliasing.
Once more, I feel I must mention that this is Metal Gear Rising, not Solid. Don’t go looking for snake in this game, it’s all about Raiden, the cyborg ninja from MGS 2 and MGS 4.
