It is sad that Mario Galaxy Games will not share a release date for Mario Kart 8, but they are willing to show us more of it in the new trailer revealed during Nintendo Direct.
Apart from the obvious interest, you will have in knowing how the game looks like in the new trailer; you would also want to see it because it features an airport level where you will have to navigate around planes as they take off.
The Karts are anti gravity and there are gliders who twist the track directly towards the aircraft’s flight plan, so there’s your challenge. The next stage shown in the trailer is even more delicious, it had baby forms of Mario Luigi, Peach and Daisy – did that remind you of Baby Park by Double Dash?
Furthermore, Princess Rosalina will be playable in Mario Kart 8.
In addition to the new driver characters, you will get a desert high in the clouds as a new course as well as new vehicles like UFOs, ATVs, bikes and obviously multiple standard Karts.
So far, we know that Mario Kart 8 will be released in or after the Spring 2014, stay tuned for more information.
