Minecraft PS3 Releasing Tomorrow – PS4 And Vita Versions In Development

It took fairly a long time but at least Mojang have realized that it’s about time Minecraft launches on Sony consoles. This indie sandbox game is all about breaking and placing blocks to guard yourself against monsters and create the worlds of your imagination.

Until now, Minecraft has been released on all major platforms including Android and iOS based devices. And now, Minecraft PS3 will be available for download on Playstation Store tomorrow.

According to Playstation EU Blog, versions for Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita are undergoing development and fans can expect more news in the New Year; no expected release date is provided.

For those of you wondering if there are any changes made for the Playstation 3 version, the game is essentially pretty much the same as Hill clarifies:

“They’re pretty-much identical to play, and will be developed in tandem from now on.”

Once the game hits the store, Downloadable Skins and Texture Packs will become available to download and some of them will be exclusive to Playstation 3; get excited! When asked whether a Remote Play feature with Playstation Vita or Playstation 4 is expected or not?! This is what Owen Hill had to say:

“We don’t know yet, sorry. We’ll let you know as soon as we do.”
