Developer Milestone announced MotoGP 13 Compact, which will be available as a digital download for Playstation 3 and PS Vita.
This miniature edition of the racing title is coming soon and will launch at a reduced price. Hopefully, this price is truly friendly, as the main game is already available in stores for a lot less than its starting amount.
All MotoGP tracks will be included in this edition, though some cuts have been made to fit this model. It’s being created, reportedly, because requests were made for a more accessible game.
Elements included in MotoGP 13 Compact are as follows:
- Grand Prix – Players race with one of the official riders on any track
- Championship – This mode requires racing through the entire MotoGP 13 World Championship to prove one’s worth.
- Split Screen – Mode to play the game with a friend locally.
- Online Grand Prix – Take on other players through a network.
Only the highest tier of categories will be available. There are no Moto3 or Moto2 events. A Career mode that lets players start from scratch within these categories will therefore not be an option either.
Furthermore, real world events that come in through updates are also not noted. This is true for the Time Attack mode of the base game as well.
In other news, developer Milestone recently announced that they’ll branch out in the racing world with the announcement of MXGP, a motocross game.
There is no word whether or not MotoGP 13 Compact will make it to PC and Xbox 360.
