Two Marvel vs Capcom Games are Being Delisted from XBLA/PSN Store

Looks like the end is near for multiple Marvel vs Capcom games, we will be seeing two of them ceasing to exist over the PlayStation Network or the Xbox Live Arcade soon.

The games that are being taken off of the online stores for both Sony and Microsoft’s console are Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Marvel vs Capcom 2. Both these games have also been discounted for as long as they are still purchasable.

The sale, which is currently live, lets you access the last chance on getting the DLC for these games from the PlayStation Network at a 50 percent discount! The last day DLC content will be available is December 17 in the North American PlayStation Network and December 19 in European PlayStation Network.

Xbox Live Arcade will shut down the game from the store globally on December 26 – how considerate of them to include Christmas Eve in the sale days.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 was initially released to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2011; it later got a PlayStation Vita version in February 2012. Marvel vs Capcom 2 on the other hand is a classic game in the series and was released initially in the year 2000.
