What We Know About The Walking Dead Season 2 By Telltale Games

The Walking Dead: Season 1 was a fantastic tale of survival, friendship and human emotions that was well received by anyone and everyone. As we approach the holidays, it’s exciting to know that we’ll soon be enrolling ourselves in Season 2 and that leaves a spark of excitement in itself.

Earlier this month Telltale Games released a screenshot from The Walking Dead Season 2, teasing a probable reveal in the coming week and also confirming the return of one of the major characters.

While the final episode left us wondering whether Omid and his pregnant girlfriend Christa would survive the wrath of the undead, the screenshot confirms that Omid in fact will be returning for the second season.

Fate of Christa on the other hand is unknown but there’s a high chance that she has also survived. Taking into account how Telltale likes to involve human emotions, a setting surrounded a pregnant girlfriend is going to serve well when it comes to making difficult choices.

The screenshot also shows a young Clementine which dissolves the previous rumor of her being featured as a teenager. Both she and Omid are shown standing at Gil’s Pitstop, the central location of Season 1’s 400 Days DLC.

It’s important to note that all decisions players made in the DLC are going to have an effect on some elements in Season 2. It’s safe to say that Season 2 will at least start from Gil’s Pitstop where the group will probably hold out for a couple of episodes, until finally moving on to a different camp.

You can check out the exclusive trailer above that has the developers talking about the game. Clementine looks to be the center of story and players will be once again struggling to keep her safe.

The first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two is called ‘All That Remains’ and will release for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this month.

It will be priced at £19 / $25. According to Steam, the episode will be available on December 17, 2013; while it will be available on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade on December 18, 2013.
