To start off, Titanfall which was confirmed to be the most anticipated game through the same awards introduced two new playable classes. Respawn Entertainment showcased two new trailers each one of them showing off Ogre and Stryder respectively.
Adding to the previously known Atlas class of Titans, Ogre was introduced through Hammond Robotics, the in-game industry that makes the Titans that protect our world. Ogre is much bulkier slightly round designed Titan that is said to be more rigid thanks to its heavy armor.
The trailer boasts of mitigating damage to friendly units as well as an impressive capacity of inflicting damage to enemy units. The advertisement-like narration states that it has been tested to inflict 50 percent more damage to enemy Titans!
Respawn Entertainment’s second Titanfall trailer introduced Stryder, again through a narration by the game’s Hammond Robotics. Stryder comes packed with an increased thrust and boasts of being the most agile Titan among its fellows. It is much faster than the enemy but from the looks of it, comes with lesser endurance of damage.
The addition of these two classes of Titans makes the already fuming hot game even hotter. We now have a total of 3 playable Titan classes. I wonder if there are more.
