Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is going to feature exclusive content on both the PlayStation and Xbox platforms. We already know of the flashback missions of Snake planned for the PlayStation. Today we get to know what Konami will be releasing for the Xbox versions.
A new Metal Gear Solid V Q&A video with series creator Hideo Kojima reveals that the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions will feature the “Jamais Vu” mission, where players will get to play as the cyborg ninja Raiden who was recently featured in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. In the video he is shown taking down enemy bioroid snatchers who have difficulty getting past his cyborg self.
The trailer also revealed that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will release on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on March 18, 2014.
“Ground Zeroes is the gateway that leads into The Phantom Pain and serves as the prologue to the core Metal Gear Solid V experience,” Kojima said when asked about the relationship between Ground Zeroes and The Phantom pain.
“If I were to draw an analogy to Hollywood movies, it’s similar to those first 15 minutes of a film that grabs the viewer’s interest and pulls them in before the opening title appears. In game terms, it’s a sort of tutorial that will help players get accustomed to many of the changes that we’re introducing to the system.”
