World of Warcraft Patch 5.4.2 Live On Public Test Realm, Changes Detailed

World of Warcraft Patch 5.4.2 is now live at public test realms featuring new raids, scenarios and dungeons.

Patch 5.4.2 brings significant changes to the game and going by the tradition, Blizzard wants you to test it out before it is released to public.

As far as the changes go, Warrior’s intervene will no longer remove movement impairing effects on use. New categories for Mist of Pandaria World Bosses have been introduced (celestials and Ordos) as well as Flexible raid difficulty for in case of the Siege of Orgrimmar in the Cross Realm raid browser.

You access the Cross Realm Raid Browser through the Social Pane (O Key) and hitting the Raid tab on the bottom right. After that, you find players that are grouping for a raid or looking to join one.

Moreover, even dead players will now be able to set raid markers in the world.

Account bound items can now be mailed to other characters from different realms of the same account. In order to do so, you will need to enter the character’s name followed by a hyphen, and the realm name. Gold and other items cannot be sent though.

As far as the UI is concerned, the customer support button is no longer where it used to be, instead you can reach the support team in-game through help in the game menu. You can access the menu by hitting the Escape Key.
